Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Universal Remote iPhone and iPad app ("the app"), made by Vo Cong Tuan ("we").

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. We do not receive any information about you or how you use the app.

What stays on your iPhone

Your saved remotes, discovered devices, app preferences and any IPTV playlists you add are stored only on your device. Media you cast and IPTV streams you play are sent directly from your device to the TV or playlist URL you choose; they do not pass through us. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Permissions

Local Network is used only to discover and control TVs and streaming devices on your Wi-Fi, and is requested the first time you scan. Photo Library access is used only to let you pick photos and videos to cast, and is requested when you open Cast. You can turn any permission off in iPhone Settings › Universal Remote.

Third parties

We share no data with anyone, because we have none.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights and deletion
